Andrew Orr, Master Business Coach

Andrew is committed to helping business owners grow their business, increase their bottom line, and get their lives back. He currently assists owners of businesses that include manufacturing, wholesale, retail, technology, consulting, and professional and personal services.

Andrew has more than 25 years of experience leading and working with a wide variety of organizations around the world.

Starting his career in education, Andrew taught physics, mathematics, and marine sciences in Canada, Africa, and the West Indies. He subsequently moved to the college system, setting up and supervising adult education and career preparation programs.

Holding positions ranging from Regional Director to CEO to sole-proprietor consultant over a 14-year period, Andrew discovered a passion for general management. His sectoral experience includes formal and non-formal education, adventure and eco-tourism, corporate training, non-profit and international development. His clients have ranged from the large financial, service, and industrial companies to small local organizations.

Andrew has an exceptional record in international project management, rebuilding organizational effectiveness and profitability, increasing sales, designing and implementing efficient financial and information systems, creating cohesive and highly-motivated teams, and improving the corporate image. He also continues to devote volunteer time to non-profit fund raising and governance.

Andrew has been coaching all his life. As Executive Director of the most successful Outward Bound school in North America, he and his team excelled in helping individuals and corporate teams meet or exceed their goals. As a back-country skier, mountaineer, scuba diver and world traveler who has lived, worked, or traveled in 42 countries, he believes in continually exploring and expanding boundaries.
